Job Description

Overview

As a PMA Production Technician at Skyryse, you will be responsible for the meticulous execution of assembly, testing, tear-down, and inspection of aviation hardware, ensuring compliance with FAA regulations and internal quality management systems. This is a full-time onsite opportunity based out of El Segundo, CA.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate strong proficiency in soldering, including both through-hole and surface-mount techniques.
  • Ensure compliance with industry certifications, including J-STD-001 & IPC-A-610.
  • Carry out PCBA rework, component replacement, and troubleshooting on circuit boards.
  • Perform assembly, tear-downs, inspections, and testing of mechanical and electromechanical components.
  • Read and understand manufacturing blueprints, wire diagrams, and other applicable documents.
  • Utilize hand tools such as calipers, micrometers, and multimeters for testing and assembly.
  • Initiate and document any nonconforming materials according to specifications.
  • Assist with other functions of the manufacturing of aircraft parts as needed.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in an aviation production environment.
  • Certification in J-STD-001, IPC-A-610, or equivalent industry standards.
  • Experience with assembly instructions, blueprint reading, and other specifications.
  • Basic computer skills required: Windows, MacOS, Excel, Gmail.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime as needed.
  • Ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
