Overview

The Facilities & Manufacturing Equipment Reliability Technician is responsible for ensuring the reliability of production equipment, minimizing downtime, and maintaining facility infrastructure. This role involves hands-on troubleshooting and repair across various systems, executing preventive maintenance, and overseeing contractors.

Responsibilities

• Drive reliability by reducing unplanned breakdowns and cutting mean time to repair across CNC and conventional equipment.
• Execute and improve preventive maintenance by inspecting drives, motors, belts, checking fluids, replacing filters, and cleaning machinery.
• Conduct safety inspections and uphold standards across all machines.
• Maintain the facility infrastructure including utilities, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, and masonry.
• Install capital equipment and associated electrical wiring safely and on schedule.
• Direct and oversee third-party contractors to ensure quality and compliance.
• Use and refine the electronic asset management and maintenance record system for traceable, data-driven work.
• Create project plans and deliver clear status reports to stakeholders.
• Assist with painting, sheet metal work, and welding while maintaining a clean workspace.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED and seven years of experience in manufacturing equipment repair.
• Mastery of multi-craft troubleshooting and repair: mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical.
• Hands-on ability to weld, fabricate, install, and repair equipment.
• Comfort with basic math and computers; fast learner who makes sound decisions using procedures and documentation.
• Clear communicator and collaborative teammate; proficient in basic English.
• EMaint CMMS experience preferred.
