Job Description

Overview

GRAM is a self-replication company focused on creating populations of insectoids for the physical economy. The Robotics Technician will play a crucial role in building and testing these systems, ensuring they function autonomously without human intervention.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble mechanical and electromechanical subsystems from various documentation.
  • Fabricate, route, terminate, label, inspect, and test wiring harnesses and connectors.
  • Install instrumentation and operate various diagnostic tools.
  • Perform subsystem checkout and functional tests under approved procedures.
  • Diagnose build and service discrepancies and escalate as necessary.
  • Execute approved rework, repair, and maintenance, verifying through inspection.
  • Maintain records of build travelers, traceability, and test results.

Requirements

  • Professional experience with complex electromechanical hardware.
  • Experience building or servicing hardware from controlled documentation.
  • Proficiency in mechanical assembly and electrical workmanship.
  • Experience using measurement and diagnostic equipment.
  • Documented experience with nonconformance and corrective work.

  • This is an on-site position located in El Segundo, California.
  • The position is non-exempt and overtime will be paid according to law.
