Job Description

Overview

The UT Level II Technician will perform in-house Aerospace (UT) shop work, including setting up and calibrating equipment, conducting tests, and interpreting inspection results. The position requires familiarity with NDT methods and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and calibrate equipment for NDT Method (UT).
  • Conduct tests independently using appropriate UT NDT techniques.
  • Interpret, evaluate, and document inspection results.
  • Direct the work of trainees and Level I personnel.
  • Identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.
  • Obtain and analyze information skillfully.
  • Edit and present numerical data effectively.

Requirements

  • High School graduate or equivalent required.
  • Graduate of a specialized NDT technical program meeting SNT-TC1A and/or NAS-410 in UT is required.
  • Prior certification as an NDE Level II with one year experience or as an NDE Level I technician with adequate Aerospace experience hours.
