Overview

The Plant Production Laborer position at Arcosa Crushed Concrete involves performing various manual labor tasks to ensure safe and efficient operations at the plant. The role includes maintenance inspections, equipment operation, and adherence to safety regulations, with opportunities for career advancement and competitive benefits.

Responsibilities

  • Follow all company safety policies and TCEQ environmental/OSHA safety regulations.
  • Perform daily maintenance inspections of the plant and equipment.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work area and report safety or maintenance issues.
  • Perform manual labor tasks to operate equipment for crushing concrete and removing debris.
  • Conduct repairs and maintenance throughout the plant, including screen changes and conveyor belt repairs.
  • Assist with various plant operations, including cleaning and monitoring dust levels.
  • Cross-train and perform other jobs as needed.
  • Perform other duties as required or assigned.

Requirements

  • Some experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Must be 18 years of age.
