Overview

SCA Sign Group is seeking an experienced electrical sign fabricator to join their busy sign shop. The ideal candidate will have previous sign fabrication experience and will assist with various tasks related to sign production.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, prepare, and use materials to minimize waste.
  • Operate metal cutting equipment to cut materials to job specifications.
  • Operate welding equipment to weld sign parts together.
  • Implement and maintain quality control and safety during material handling, cutting, and welding.
  • Sand, grind, polish, and clean cut materials.
  • Layout materials for skinning or covering sign structures.
  • Operate Accubend Channel Letter Machine and Clincher.
  • Operate CNC Router.
  • Operate Vinyl Plotter.
  • Fabricate using various types of sign materials such as wood, metal, acrylic, diabond, and coroplast.
  • Be familiar with pylon signs, channel letters, sign cabinets, FCO letters, and vinyl production and application.
  • Bend and shape sign parts by hand or using brakes according to job specifications.
  • Drill, rivet, screw, or adhere sign parts together.
  • Repair products by dismantling, straightening, and reshaping.
  • Operate skid steer for moving and positioning materials and supplies.
  • Maintain a safe working environment.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
  • Complete all tasks and to-dos as assigned by the supervisor.
  • Have experience with Matthews Paint Systems.

Requirements

  • Must have previous sign fabrication experience.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • Must be dependable.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and/or ID.
  • Must provide proof of legal work status.
