Overview

The State of California is seeking a Caltrans Equipment Operator II to perform bridge maintenance work under supervision. This role involves operating various types of equipment and may require working with different supervisors as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Operate Category 1 and Category 2 equipment for bridge maintenance.
  • Work individually or as part of a crew.
  • Receive training from other crew members or supervisors.
  • May work for other supervisors as required by operational needs.

Requirements

  • Must pass a drug screening prior to hiring.
  • Requires a valid Class A driver's license with Tank Vehicle (N) endorsement.
  • Possession of Minimum Qualifications will be verified prior to interview and/or appointment.
