Overview

R.L. Sagath Machine and Fabrication Co., Inc. is a growing family-owned manufacturer seeking a talented welder to join their workforce. The ideal candidate will possess welding experience, attention to detail, a positive attitude, and a team player mentality.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble a variety of metal component parts using assembly fixtures or blueprints for welding.
  • Weld all metals and combinations of metals.
  • Select and use the correct wire for the metals being welded.
  • Perform proficient air-arc welds.
  • Use inspection tools to record measurements and understand their impact on part quality.
  • Repair parts that fail inspection.
  • Maintain a minimum quality yield performance of 99% when fully trained.

Requirements

  • High school Diploma or GED.
  • 1 to 3 months related experience.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and correspondence.
  • Ability to effectively communicate.
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
  • Flexibility in working hours and responsibilities as required by workload.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed tasks.
