Job Description

Summary: This individual is responsible for adhering to all safety regulations and company policies to ensure a safe and productive working environment. This position is responsible for interpreting shop drawings and technical drawings, measuring and cutting raw materials, and assembling structural steel components according to specifications. This position works under the direction of the Leaderman and reports to the Plant Superintendent. Qualifications:Strong ability to read and interpret shop drawings.Basic math and measurement skills. What you'll be running

This posting calls for MIG and TIG work. MIG (GMAW) feeds a continuous wire electrode through a shielding-gas nozzle. TIG (GTAW) uses a non-consumable tungsten electrode with filler added by hand, giving the operator the most control of any process. It is slow, demanding, and the standard for stainless, aluminum, and anything where the bead has to look as good as it holds.
