Overview

K&S Countertops LLC is seeking a reliable Laminate Countertop Fabricator & Laminate Wood Worker to join their busy local laminate countertop shop in Norcross/Doraville, GA. No experience is necessary, and the position offers a competitive hourly wage based on experience.

Responsibilities

  • Fabricate laminate projects including sticks, buildup, endcap fabrication, splash fabrication, and sink hole cut outs.
  • Cut, glue, clamp, sand, and finish wood countertop substrates.
  • Safely operate various tools including a 'Saw Stop' safety table saw, miter saw, chop saw, routers, and pneumatic hand tools.
  • Ensure quality control by reading shop drawings and measuring accurately.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a woodworking shop, cabinet shop, or countertop fabrication environment is preferred but not required.
  • Direct experience working with plastic laminate and contact adhesives is a major plus.
  • Ability to read cut sheets and measure accurately.
  • Dependable team player with a strong work ethic.
  • Physical stamina to lift heavy sheets of material and stand for long periods.
