Overview

dormakaba is seeking a Welder I based in Chino, CA. The Welder I is responsible for welding and assembling metal pieces and products by using handheld welding equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret instructions, blueprints, schematics, drawings, and welding process specifications.
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fuse metal segments using processes such as MIG.
  • Follow production schedules to meet work order delivery dates ensuring efficient use of labor.
  • Order parts if needed.
  • Examine work pieces for flaws and imperfections.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in MIG welding in a manufacturing environment and/or training.
  • Ability to read and interpret instructions, blueprints, schematics, and drawings.
