Overview

U.S. Tsubaki is a leading manufacturer and supplier of power transmission and motion control products, known for its quality and customer service. The Machine Operator is responsible for setting up and operating various machines to process sales orders according to customer specifications.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate numerically controlled horizontal lathe or turret/engine lathe for repetitive operations such as turning, boring, threading, or facing of metal work pieces.
• Set up and operate burn bore torch/flame splitting trolley.
• Set up and operate induction/flame hardening machines to harden and anneal work pieces.
• Assemble discos, set speed limits, and load as a P.T.U.C. Operator.
• Set up and operate mechanical drilling machine for drilling, reaming, countersinking, spot facing, and tapping of holes in metal work pieces.
• Clean and remove residues from parts prior to finishing, spray surfaces with paint, and operate sandblasting and washing machines.
• Make labels, operate ballsizer, and deliver finished goods to shipping.
• Maintain regular and timely attendance.
• Perform other tasks, functions, and projects as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to perform a large variety of job duties and willingness to learn new skills.
• Must foster and support a teamwork environment with emphasis on excellent customer service.
• Ability to work independently, multi-task, and prioritize work with high attention to detail.
• Good problem-solving skills and general mechanical aptitude required.
• A sense of urgency required.
