Overview

Imbibe is a high-growth food and beverage development company in Niles, Illinois, specializing in beverage flavors and product development. The Pilot Plant Technician will operate equipment and assist in the development of food and beverage products, collaborating with Product Development and Flavorists.

Responsibilities

  • Become an expert in multiple new pieces of processing technology with on-the-job training.
  • Maintain proper stock of prepared packaging materials.
  • Troubleshoot and repair damaged components in a timely manner.
  • Run beverage formulations through various pieces of beverage processing equipment.
  • Ensure beverage products are properly packaged and labeled.
  • Follow all Good Manufacturing Practice guidelines during production.
  • Participate in Root Cause Analysis and Process Improvement projects.

Requirements

  • High school degree or GED equivalent.
  • Team player willing to support the development and launch of new products.
  • Ability to adapt to the changing needs of the lab.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • Able to lift and carry objects up to 50lbs consistently.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to observe details at close range.
