Overview

Woodward is committed to creating a great workplace for all team members, focusing on integrity, respect, and accountability. The Coil Winder position involves operating basic machines and performing light assembly in an industrial setting under close supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Communicates information about project status and reviews item status in MRP.
  • Documents non-conformance and dispositions using non-conformance forms.
  • Cleans and maintains measuring instruments and test equipment.
  • Follows all departmental safety rules and regulations.
  • Completes and reviews product paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Verifies the calibration of equipment and expiration dates.
  • Measures specific dimensions according to work instructions.
  • Performs curing process of parts and inspects according to visual requirements.
  • May require applying hot dip method or touch up method of stacks and return paths.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • No related work experience required.
  • Ability to see details clearly to accomplish work tasks safely and efficiently.
  • May be required to pass Near Vision and/or Color Vision examinations.
  • Moderate physical activity requiring agility and dexterity.
