At Benchmark, we are driven by our purpose to innovate for a healthier, safer, and better-connected world. As a Welder I, you will utilize your welding knowledge to weld parts and components in various metals, contributing to meaningful projects across multiple sectors.

Responsibilities

• Perform welding machine operations in a timely and efficient manner.
• Utilize welding fixtures to facilitate close exacting welding of all types of components, working in accordance with company/customer specifications.
• Maintain work orders and welding production schedule.
• Work under supervision on standardized duties and tasks, selecting from written instructions and established procedures.
• Complete required documents and provide supervisor with accurate daily production data.
• Maintain tools and equipment in proper working order and perform preventative maintenance.
• Maintain adequate supplies for the welding area.
• Maintain a safe, neat, and orderly work environment to produce products at the highest quality level.
• Maintain the security and confidentiality of customer products and documentation.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of welding experience.
• Ability to read blueprints and translate them into efficient work instructions.
• Manual dexterity is required.
• Ability to handle changing priorities.
• Good analytical skills and problem-solving ability.
• Effective communication, both verbal and written.
• Ability to respond to written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic math.
• Participate in a continuous improvement activity.

Additional Information

• Physical Location: Mesa, AZ.
• Shift: Shift 1.
• Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 2:30pm-11:00pm.
• Full Time.
