Overview

As a Factory Service Center Aircraft Maintenance Technician, you will perform aircraft scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, modifications, and repairs at an assigned Factory Service Center. The role involves diagnostic and mechanical duties, with all work documented in compliance with appropriate technical data and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to Cirrus Aircraft Standard Operating Procedures.
• Comply with environmental health and safety policies and procedures.
• Maintain professionalism in conduct and appearance while representing Cirrus Aircraft.
• Observe and maintain all requirements set forth by the Cirrus Part 145 Repair Station Manual.
• Read and understand maintenance manuals and technical documents to identify repair procedures.
• Perform critical repairs and troubleshooting on AOG aircraft in accordance with FAA regulations.
• Review and research aircraft records.
• Evaluate and interpret aircraft data.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical systems.
• Utilize proper diagnostic and test equipment.
• Inspect replacement aircraft parts for defects.
• Replace defective parts using approved tooling.
• Assemble aircraft components and perform required measurements and adjustments.
• Install and load system software and databases.
• Inspect completed work for compliance and performance standards.
• Assist in Factory Service Center indirect activities such as moving aircraft and continuous improvement projects.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Complete 100% Cirrus CBT Training.
• Complete 100% Cirrus University training.
• Complete 65% Cirrus and supplier training.
• Complete 50% Core Task List for SR and SF.
• FAAST Bronze or better.
• 4+ years of proven aircraft maintenance experience.
• Must have CFR part 65 Certification – Repairmen or A&P.
• FAA Airframe and Powerplant certification.
• Valid State Drivers License.
• Ability to obtain an Airport Security Badge.

Additional Information

• Work beyond 40 hours per week may be required.
