Job Description

Overview

Pape’ Rents is seeking a Heavy Equipment Rental Shop Technician/Mechanic in Phoenix, AZ, for individuals who are passionate about working on equipment and looking to grow their skills in a supportive environment. Responsibilities

  • Work on material handling and construction equipment to ensure accurate and timely repairs.
  • Maximize equipment uptime and support customer rental equipment needs.
  • Collaborate with other trained technicians in a well-resourced shop.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of JLG, Genie, and other AWP equipment with troubleshooting abilities.
  • Experience with electronic and hydraulic repairs, as well as diesel and gas engine repair.
  • Comfortable working at heights.
  • Basic computer knowledge.
  • Excellent communication and customer relations skills.
  • Must provide own tools.
  • Ability to push, pull, and/or lift up to 75lbs.
  • Driver's license with a good driving record.
