Overview

The Pipe Welder at Loenbro, LLC is responsible for fitting and welding carbon steel, stainless steel, and alloy piping systems in industrial and construction projects. Loenbro is a trusted construction lifecycle partner across various industries, emphasizing integrity, teamwork, and excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Perform FCAW and GMAW welding processes as required.
  • Read and interpret isometric drawings, blueprints, spool sheets, and weld procedures.
  • Fabricate and weld carbon steel process piping.
  • Inspect materials and completed welds for quality and conformance to specifications.
  • Operate grinders, torches, beveling equipment, and other fabrication tools safely.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Comply with all safety policies, procedures, and quality standards.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of industrial pipe welding experience preferred.
  • Ability to pass a Loenbro welding test and applicable project weld qualifications.
  • 2G, 3G GMAW/FCAW minimum requirements; 6G preferred.
  • 6G GTAW/SMAW helpful, not required.
  • Strong understanding of weld symbols and fabrication drawings.
  • Knowledge of pipe fabrication, fit-up tolerances, and welding procedures.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fabrication shop environment.
  • Reliable attendance and commitment to quality workmanship.

What you'll be running

This posting calls for MIG, TIG, Stick, and Flux-Core work. MIG (GMAW) feeds a continuous wire electrode through a shielding-gas nozzle.
