Overview

The Maintenance Technician position at PBNA involves repairing and installing production equipment, performing preventative maintenance, and diagnosing equipment malfunctions. The role requires working in environments with heat, noise, gas, and chemicals, and may involve weekend or holiday work.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventative maintenance on production equipment
  • Repair all production equipment as needed
  • Perform breakdown analysis
  • Perform general housekeeping
  • Upgrade production lines with new equipment/technology
  • Work with outside contractors on assigned line
  • Change line for package changeovers
  • Comply with GMP, safety, and audit standards
  • Document work schedule and tasks completed

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Pass technical assessment addressing job-critical maintenance knowledge areas
  • Experience with mechanical systems such as gear boxes, chains, and motors
  • Experience with product manuals for repairs
  • Experience troubleshooting mechanical breakdowns
  • Experience reading mechanical drawings
