Overview

The Regional Engineer II at Rain for Rent supports Applications Support and New Product Development, leveraging applications knowledge to enhance product development and solve customer problems. Rain for Rent is a family-owned company specializing in temporary liquid handling solutions, committed to excellence and customer satisfaction since 1934.

Responsibilities

  • Support Applications Engineering and New Product Development.
  • Deliver engineering project management and technical risk management.
  • Provide manufacturing management and equipment design.
  • Ensure technical regulatory compliance in engineering projects.
  • Conduct mechanical, agricultural, and controls engineering.
  • Develop new products including pumps, tanks, and filtration equipment.
  • Design fluid transfer, storage, and filtration systems.
  • Manage irrigation systems and provide instrumentation application support.
  • Oversee project management in the field and troubleshoot systems.
  • Support manufacturing and provide technical training.

Requirements

  • Fundamentals of Engineering Exam passed or to be completed within 2 years.
  • PE certification preferred.
  • Experience with 3D CAD systems, preferably Solidworks.
  • Familiarity with Solidworks EPDM and AutoCAD.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project.
