Overview

Integrated Power Services (IPS) is expanding its power management apprenticeship program, offering a competitive hourly pay rate and regular pay increases based on performance. The program provides hands-on experience, mentorship, and technical knowledge for individuals interested in mechanical or electrical trades, STEM, and renewable energy.

Responsibilities

  • Gain practical skills and hands-on experience in power management.
  • Work alongside seasoned professionals in a dynamic learning environment.
  • Understand wind turbine systems and electrical power testing.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED for first year entry.
  • Graduate from an electrical-related high school or two-year program, related military experience, or related industry experience for second year entry.
  • Proven competencies in safety, DC/AC theory, and entry-level electrical skills.
  • At least 3 years of experience operating a vehicle with a valid, unrestricted driver’s license.

Additional Information

  • The apprenticeship program lasts approximately 2 to 4 1/2 years, combining classroom hours and on-the-job training.
  • Apprentices will be paid a progressively increasing schedule of wages based on job hours and related instruction.
