Overview

The TIG Welder is responsible for the complete fit up and welding of stainless-steel components, ensuring structural integrity and high-quality finishes. This role includes operating and maintaining fabrication equipment, reading technical drawings, and adhering to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Perform TIG welding on stainless steel components with attention to detail and weld quality.
  • Follow food grade quality welding procedures on various components including pipe.
  • Cut and grind stainless steel using tools such as grinders and saws.
  • Read and interpret fabrication drawings and job orders.
  • Conduct inspections of finished components to ensure accuracy and quality standards are met.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Follow company safety procedures and guidelines.
  • Operate press brake and waterjet as needed.
  • Occasionally utilize MIG welding process.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in TIG welding techniques.
  • Proven experience in metal fabrication.
  • Preferred experience with stainless steel.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship.
  • Knowledge of workplace safety standards and PPE requirements.

Additional Information

  • Must be able to lift 25 LBS multiple times a day.
  • Must be able to lift up to 45 LBS on occasion.
  • Must be able to stand at least 80% of the day.

What you'll be running
