Responsibilities

  • Perform complex welds on materials like stainless steel, aluminum, and carbon steel.
  • Construct metal components and structures following detailed blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Operate and maintain advanced welding equipment and plasma cutters.
  • Inspect welds and fabricated parts to ensure they meet specifications and resolve any defects.
  • Prioritize and manage tasks to meet deadlines, maintaining both quality and efficiency.

Requirements

  • Strong TIG (GTAW) welding skills with 3-5 years experience preferred.
  • Ability to weld in all positions (flat, horizontal, vertical, overhead).
  • Experience with stainless steel fabrication, including heat control and contamination prevention.
  • Proficiency in reading blueprints, weld symbols, and tolerances.
  • Solid fit-up and fabrication skills including measuring, cutting, grinding, and assembling.
  • Understanding of weld quality standards and ability to produce consistent, clean welds.
  • Knowledge of shop safety practices and PPE.
  • Reliable work ethic with ability to meet production expectations.
