Overview

We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support the fabrication, assembly, integration, and continuous improvement of critical aerospace hardware in Canoga Park, CA, focusing on rocket engine and power systems technology.

Responsibilities

  • Support manufacturing processes for complex mechanical components and assemblies
  • Develop machining, welding, fabrication, and assembly processes
  • Utilize CAD and virtual manufacturing tools such as CATIA, ProE, VisMockup, and MS Office
  • Drive Lean Manufacturing initiatives, Kaizen events, and process improvements
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop manufacturing plans and work instructions
  • Collaborate with engineering, suppliers, and cross-functional teams to improve quality, efficiency, and throughput
  • Support rocket engine and advanced power system products

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of relevant manufacturing engineering experience or equivalent experience
  • Experience with machining, fabrication, welding, or complex mechanical assemblies
  • Knowledge of GD&T, tooling, manufacturing processes, and process improvements
  • Strong communication and project coordination skills
  • Ability to work independently while thriving in a collaborative team environment
