Overview

Fives Group is seeking a Field Service Technician responsible for planning, integrating, and supporting product offerings in various industrial sectors. The role involves installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of equipment to ensure optimal performance.

Responsibilities

• Plan and supervise installation of products into clients' systems.
• Solve technical problems and ensure overall function of products.
• Maintain and service products according to user needs.
• Conduct continual analysis of customer equipment for optimal performance.
• Determine causes of failures and recommend updates or corrections.
• Research, develop, and maintain scheduled customer visits and reports.
• Comply with safety requirements at operations visited.
• Train internal and external groups on product operation and maintenance.

Requirements

• Technical Degree, Engineering Degree or Equivalent Work Experience.
• Solid mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic experience in repairing and maintaining equipment.
• Experience in controls, VFD's, MCC's, PLC's and HMI's.
• Ability to read and understand mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical schematics and P&IDs.
• Proficiency in PC utilizing MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.
• Strong analytical, diagnosis, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work with blueprints, schematic drawings, and illustrations.
• Skilled in assembling and disassembling equipment.
• Expert in conducting repair and maintenance service on complex equipment.
• Excellent customer service, technical, interpersonal and communication skills.

Additional Information

• 75% travel required typically for one to two weeks at a time, including weekends or holidays.
