Overview

Teledyne Technologies Incorporated is seeking a Manufacturing Maintenance Mechanic for a temp-to-hire position. The role involves machine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair within a company that provides advanced technology solutions across various industrial markets.

Responsibilities

  • Perform machine repair, rebuilding, and retrofitting.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance for manufacturing equipment to electrical, mechanical, and safety standards.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical and mechanical malfunctions of manufacturing equipment.
  • Utilize diagnostic equipment and measuring devices for troubleshooting and monitoring equipment performance.
  • Perform basic plumbing, electrical, and structural repairs in and around the facility.
  • Assist with the installation of new equipment.
  • Safely use a variety of hand and power tools as required.
  • Perform Lockout and Tagout (LOTO) procedures in accordance with company policy.

Requirements

  • Associate degree in a related field from a two-year college or technical school.
  • Minimum 5 years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of training and experience.
  • Working knowledge of PLCs, Drives, and manufacturing automation equipment is a plus.
  • Prior Forklift certification.
  • Good driving record and current, valid driver license to operate company vehicle as required.
  • Availability for overtime as required.
  • Working knowledge of PC-based Microsoft Office programs: Outlook, Word, Excel.
