Overview

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and resolve equipment and manufacturing system issues in collaboration with the operations team.
  • Perform preventive maintenance and inspections to ensure equipment reliability and safety.
  • Support general building maintenance, including minor plumbing, drywall, painting, cleaning, and general upkeep.
  • Identify and solve recurring equipment problems alongside the maintenance team.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA and Tosca safety standards.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of and strict adherence to the Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) program.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 3 years of maintenance experience, including mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.
  • Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office.
  • Knowledge of OSHA requirements and production safety practices, including LOTO.
  • Electrical knowledge including schematics, PLCs, 480v/3-phase systems, D/C motors, Yaskawa A/C drives, wiring, and control logic.
  • Solid understanding of industrial mechanical principles (hydraulics, pneumatics, controls).
  • Experience with boilers or MIG/TIG welding is a plus.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime when needed.

Additional Information

  • Maintenance Technicians are hired across all shifts at the Garland Service Center.
  • 1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM.
  • 2nd Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM.
  • 3rd Shift: 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM.

What you'll be running
