Overview

The Asset Maintenance Technician II role involves troubleshooting, diagnostics, repairs, and preventive maintenance on advanced manufacturing equipment, contributing to the efficiency and longevity of our assets.

Responsibilities

  • Perform troubleshooting, diagnostics, repairs, and preventive maintenance on a variety of machinery.
  • Utilize technical documentation and hands-on troubleshooting skills to diagnose system failures.
  • Support daily Asset Maintenance execution by coordinating technician workflow and prioritizing tasks.
  • Act as a hands-on technician and shift-level mentor for operational questions and workflow escalations.
  • Maintain shift coverage and communicate daily priorities to leadership.
  • Collaborate with production teams to address equipment issues and reduce downtime.
  • Assist with the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of new equipment.
  • Support the execution of preventive maintenance schedules and ensure timely completion.
  • Track maintenance activity and equipment status through appropriate systems.
  • Identify opportunities to improve maintenance processes and overall team performance.
  • Provide coaching and real-time support to team members.

Requirements

  • 2–3+ years of experience in industrial maintenance or a related technical field.
  • Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting capability.
  • Experience with CNC machines, automation systems, or complex manufacturing equipment.
  • Strong communication skills for sharing priorities and escalating issues.
  • Ability to support team members through coaching and troubleshooting guidance.
  • Understanding of safety procedures and manufacturing maintenance best practices.

  • This is a first-shift position with a standard schedule of Monday through Friday, 5:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. PT.
  • The role is structured around a 50-hour workweek, including 10 guaranteed overtime hours each week.
