Overview

You will serve as a PIPEFITTER in the TEMPORARY SERVICES SHOP in the NUCLEAR REGIONAL MAINTENANCE DEPARTMENT in GUAM, part of PEARL HARBOR NSY AND IMF DETACHMENT in GUAM. Access to medical and dental care in Guam is extremely limited.

Responsibilities

Follow blueprints, sketches, shop drawings, verbal instructions, templates, or targets to complete piping installations.
Use pipe cutting and threading tools and equipment to prepare pipe for installation.
Determine the extent of repairs required for piping systems or equipment.
Determine pipe, joint, or valve sizes needed to support pressures of systems.
Check correct circulation, flow, pressure, and leak-free joints in the piping systems.
