Overview

At Relativity Space, we’re building rockets to serve today’s needs and tomorrow’s breakthroughs. As a Senior Welder on the Launch Team, you will play a pivotal role in building critical components and systems for the Terran R launch site, requiring collaboration across teams and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced aerospace environment.

Responsibilities

  • Fabricate, fit, and weld critical piping systems that support the Terran R launch site.
  • Work closely with engineering, fabrication, and construction teams to ensure piping systems are installed safely and accurately.
  • Deliver high-quality work and manage projects with minimal supervision.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional welding and fabrication experience, with a strong background in pipe welding.
  • Proficient in multiple welding processes, including TIG, MIG, FCAW, and stick welding.
  • Ability to read and interpret isometric drawings, blueprints, weld procedures, and welding symbols.
  • Experience fitting, fabricating, and installing pipe and mechanical assemblies.
  • Comfortable using a variety of fabrication and hand tools, including grinders, drills, and saws.
  • Experience operating heavy equipment such as forklifts, reach lifts, and man lifts.
  • Able to safely lift up to 40 lbs. and thrive in an active construction or industrial environment.

What you'll be running
