Overview

Nevada Countertop Supply, a premier countertop manufacturing facility located in Downtown Phoenix, AZ, is seeking an entry-level or experienced Countertop Fabricator and Sander. The position focuses on the hands-on fabrication, cutting, seaming, detailing, and sanding/finishing of custom countertops.

Responsibilities

• Learn to fabricate, build, and sand custom countertops across multiple material lines.
• Learn to work expertly with Solid Surface, Laminate, Butcher Block, and engineered materials like Thinscape.
• Utilize shop tools, grinders, routers, saws, and specialized sanding equipment efficiently and safely after proper training.
• Perform seamless joints, precise edge profiling, and surface polishing to achieve specified finishes.
• Inspect completed surfaces for defects, scratches, or unevenness to ensure a high-quality final product.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop work environment.
• Learn to operate and cut using a CNC machine.

Requirements

• No experience required; prior experience working with hands, construction, or woodworking is a plus.
• Ability to learn quickly, accurately read a tape measure, and follow assembly instructions.
• Must be able to handle heavy material layouts, stand for long shifts, and lift up to 100 lbs. as needed.
• Strong willingness to learn, high attention to detail, punctuality, and reliability.

Additional Information

• Eligible full-time employees may enroll in health insurance after a 90-day waiting period.
• Six paid holidays per year for full-time employees following the 90-day waiting period.
• Five days of PTO in the first year, accruing at 1.54 hours per pay period from Day 1 and available for use after 90 days.
• Ten days of PTO per year after Year 5, accruing at 3.08 hours per pay period.
