Overview
Now hiring at KWF in Griswold, Iowa for the position of Welder. The role involves performing pulse MIG welding on steel components and ensuring quality and safety standards are met.
Responsibilities
- Perform pulse MIG welding on steel components
- Read and follow shop drawings and work instructions
- Inspect welds for quality and accuracy
- Grind and clean parts as required
- Meet production and quality expectations
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Follow all company safety procedures
Requirements
- Previous MIG or pulse MIG welding experience preferred
- Ability to produce clean, consistent welds
- Ability to use grinders and common fabrication tools
- Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Willingness to complete a weld test
