Overview

Rocky Mountain ATV/MC is seeking a Welder I to join their Brands department. With over 40 years in the powersports industry, the company is known for its extensive selection of riding gear and parts, and is now a 100% Employee-Owned Organization.

Responsibilities

  • Perform production welding.
  • Fabricate and fit components.
  • Collaborate and cooperate with team members.
  • Complete other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Proven experience using wire feed MIG machines.
  • Steel and aluminum TIG welding experience is a plus.
  • Experience with precise cutting, grinding, and drilling.
  • Ability to read and understand printed specifications and drawings.
  • Ability to work safely with appropriate protective equipment.
  • Self-motivated and detail-oriented.
  • Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
  • Strong work ethic focused on commitment and quality.

What you'll be running

This posting calls for MIG and TIG work. MIG (GMAW) feeds a continuous wire electrode through a shielding-gas nozzle. TIG (GTAW) uses a non-consumable tungsten electrode with filler added by hand, giving the operator the most control of any process. It is slow, demanding, and the standard for stainless, aluminum, and anything where the bead has to look as good as it holds.
