Overview

In this role at Honeywell Aerospace, you will impact the efficiency and quality of production operations by delivering expert welding craftsmanship that supports the manufacturing of high-quality products and components.

Responsibilities

  • Perform advanced welding operations using various techniques such as MIG, TIG, and Stick welding.
  • Interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols for accurate execution of tasks.
  • Inspect welded joints for quality and compliance, identifying and correcting defects.
  • Maintain welding equipment and ensure a safe working environment by following safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize welding processes.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in advanced welding techniques and fabrication.
  • Strong knowledge of welding processes including MIG, TIG, Stick, and Flux-Cored Arc Welding.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and technical drawings accurately.
  • Experience with welding inspection and quality control to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Familiarity with welding safety standards and proper use of personal protective equipment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Welding certification or advanced technical training preferred.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Knowledge of metallurgy and material properties related to welding.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet production deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in welding applications.
