Syensqo is a science company focused on developing innovative solutions that enhance various aspects of life while promoting sustainability. The Sr. Multi-Craft Mechanic is responsible for operating equipment safely and independently, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards.

Responsibilities

  • Must qualify as a Multi Craft Sr.
  • Must qualify as a Sr. Mechanic.
  • Must qualify as a Sr. Electrician.
  • Perform all jobs from lower classes within the maintenance department.
  • Ensure all work is performed in accordance with the Responsible Care EMS - Environmental Management System (ISO 14001).
  • Intervene on any non-conformance or concerns affecting compliance with legal, regulatory, or company requirements.
  • Ensure integration of HSE & Responsible Care management systems into business structure and processes.
  • Promote a culture of process safety, product safety/stewardship, and customer service.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of HSE&S and Responsible Care programs when requested.
  • Communicate and follow up on any HSE&S concerns, incidents, or opportunities for improvement.
  • Lead or participate in Employee Safety Committee activities and related HSE&S processes.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Tech Trade school certificates.
  • 6 years plus experience in Industrial Maintenance.
  • Must qualify as a Multi-Craft Mechanic.
  • Practice good housekeeping habits.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Able to use basic hand and power tools safely.
  • Familiar with solid state devices.
  • Proper use of measuring devices like Meggers and DVOM.
  • Familiar with class 1 div. 1 & 2 codes.
  • Ability to read and follow Standard Operating Conditions and Procedures.
  • Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, and quality control techniques.

Additional Information

  • 2nd Sr. Multi-Craft position is Tuesday-Saturday from 2pm-10pm.
  • 3rd Sr. Multi-Craft position is Sunday-Thursday from 10pm-6am.
