Overview

Chromalloy is a global engineering and solutions company that provides aftermarket parts, repairs, and solutions to extend the life of aircraft engines and gas turbines. The company is seeking a Maintenance Specialist for its manufacturing team to maintain and improve production equipment and facility systems.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment and facility systems.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on machinery, pumps, furnaces, vacuum systems, and related equipment.
  • Complete equipment overhauls, repairs, inspections, and daily maintenance checks.
  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and HVAC system issues.
  • Maintain and repair plumbing, dust collection, and building systems.
  • Support heat treat equipment operation, maintenance, and repairs.
  • Perform welding and brazing repairs as needed.
  • Read and work from sketches, schematics, and equipment prints.
  • Operate forklifts, scissor lifts, and other maintenance equipment as required.
  • Support Lean and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
  • Follow all quality, safety, environmental, and company standards.

Requirements

  • Experience performing industrial maintenance in a manufacturing environment.
  • Must be fluent in English (speaking, reading, writing).
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics, sketches, and technical drawings.
  • Working knowledge of plumbing systems, HVAC systems, electrical power and controls, gas furnaces and heat-treat equipment, vacuum systems, dust collection systems, carpentry, and painting.
  • Welding and brazing experience.
  • Understanding of industrial equipment maintenance and repair principles.
  • Forklift experience preferred.
  • Comfortable operating a scissor lift.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality.
  • High School diploma or GED required.

Additional Information

  • Shift: 2nd shift, Monday-Friday 3:00p-11:00p.
  • Union: This position is represented by Local 475.
  • Shift Differential: 10%.
  • Starting Rate: $33.52/hr.
  • Training: New hires must be available to train on 1st shift, Monday-Friday, 7:00a-3:00p for a minimum of 90 days before transitioning to their regularly assigned shift.
