Overview

Ferguson, a Fortune 500 company, is seeking a Welder to join their team and contribute to the fire sprinkler industry. The company is committed to providing quality supplies and services across various industries while fostering a supportive work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Weld outlets onto steel pipe to serve the fire sprinkler industry
  • Perform specialty welding tasks; spool pieces, flanges, etc.
  • Inspect work for defects, dimensions, alignment, end preparations, and seam splits in pipe
  • Maintain a clean and safe welding station while conforming to standards of quality and performance
  • Report all equipment malfunctions, safety issues, and required repairs

Requirements

  • 1 to 3 years of welding experience preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to prioritize workload appropriately
  • Continued focus on improving system efficiencies and business practices
  • Attention to detail, demonstrated integrity, and professionalism
  • Desire to learn new things
  • Ability to thrive in an inclusive environment

  • Multiple Shifts Available: 1st Shift, M-F 5:00am-1:30pm; 2nd Shift, M-F 1:30pm-9:00pm, with 2nd shift pay differential
