Overview

Menzies Aviation is a critical partner in the global aviation industry, providing logistics services at over 300 locations worldwide. The GSE Mechanic role involves the safe and efficient repair and rebuilding of airport service vehicles to support aircraft services.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect and identify defective or broken parts on vehicles.
  • Make repairs to gas/diesel engines, hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
  • Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual quality control checks on refueling equipment.
  • Drive and operate refueling equipment vehicles.
  • Provide proper preventative care to equipment and timely repairs.
  • Maintain a safe and secure work environment.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED, or equivalent experience.
  • 3 to 5 years of mechanical experience.
  • Auto maintenance or forklift maintenance experience preferred.
  • Ability to proficiently read, write, and speak English.
  • Available to work variable shifts including weekends and holidays.
  • Comfortable working in all weather conditions.
  • Must obtain and maintain required Airports and Custom badges/seals.
