Overview

The Welder Advanced - Level 4 position at Honeywell Aerospace involves performing advanced welding processes and ensuring the quality and integrity of manufactured products. The role requires collaboration with engineering and quality assurance teams to enhance product reliability and performance.

Responsibilities

  • Perform advanced welding processes including TIG, MIG, and arc welding on a variety of metals and alloys.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in advanced welding techniques including TIG, MIG, and arc welding on various metals.
  • Strong ability to read and interpret complex blueprints, welding symbols, and engineering drawings.
  • Expertise in welding inspection methods and quality control standards to ensure weld integrity.
  • Experience maintaining welding equipment and troubleshooting welding process issues.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and compliance requirements related to welding operations.
  • Technical certification or associate degree in welding technology or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in advanced welding roles within a high-quality manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with welding codes and standards such as AWS certifications.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in welding processes.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to enhance product quality and process efficiency.
