Overview

Chart Industries is focused on the design and fabrication of cryogenic equipment, providing solutions across clean power, water, food, and industrial applications. The Welder IV Advanced - 6G TIG position requires extensive welding experience and offers competitive pay for skilled candidates.

Responsibilities

  • Joins, fabricates, and repairs metal and other weldable material using appropriate welding techniques.
  • Interprets blueprints, specifications, diagrams, or schematics to determine the appropriate welding process.
  • Inspects completed welds to determine structural soundness.
  • Performs a variety of complicated tasks.
  • May lead and direct the work of others.

Requirements

  • 15 years related experience required.
  • Ability to pass 6G TIG and 2G Stick test.
  • Knowledge of a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
  • Ability to rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
  • Ability to work different shifts.
  • Ability to lay out, burn holes, fit, and weld nozzles.
  • Ability to read drawings.
  • Ability to lift.
