ATS is a company founded in 1985 with a presence in the United States, Mexico, and the United Kingdom, specializing in Industrial Maintenance to enhance factory operations. The Traveling CNC Maintenance Technician role involves expert-level maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization of manufacturing equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform expert level break-fix and preventative maintenance on devices.
• Identify and source parts, supplies, and repair items as necessary.
• Independently perform maintenance as per industry standards and create maintenance standards.
• Direct customer counterparts in maintenance optimization and preventative maintenance processes.
• Setup and operate multiple machining operations including lathe, drill press, and grinder.
• Conform to customer contractor codes of conduct and safety processes.
• Document work performed in service reports and management systems.
• Provide assistance to lower level technicians and leadership to project teams.
• Alter, troubleshoot, and analyze complex control systems.
• Utilize advanced maintenance technologies to collect equipment performance data.
• Conduct on-the-job training and lead technical programs for development.
• Follow all safety related policies and identify unsafe behaviors.

Requirements

• High School Graduate or equivalent (GED).
• Associates degree with a Technical focus and 12 years of related experience, or 15 years of experience in the industry.
• Comprehensive understanding of electrical, mechanical, fluid power, and control systems.
• Ability to use basic hand tools, specialized tools, and programming software.
• Extensive travel required (Local, National, International).
