Overview

Parker Hannifin Corporation, a leading global manufacturer of motion and control technologies, is seeking an experienced Production Welder to join their 2nd Shift production team. The role involves performing high-precision welding operations to support the production of gas and fluid delivery systems.

Responsibilities

  • Perform welding tasks with a high degree of precision and skill in accordance with specifications
  • Read and interpret technical blueprints and schematics
  • Operate various welding equipment, including GTAW orbital, lathe, and laser welding machines
  • Assess and select appropriate welding methods and materials
  • Perform troubleshooting and problem-solving tasks
  • Ensure all welding tasks comply with safety and quality standards
  • Conduct welding inspections and quality control procedures
  • Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
  • Proficiency in various GTAW welding techniques including, but not limited to, orbital, lathe and laser welding
  • Ability to work with various high-purity stainless steel materials
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Skilled in performing quality control inspections and weld testing
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality welds
  • Willing to work daily and weekend overtime as needed
  • Detail-oriented with a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and eagerness to learn on the job
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work cooperatively under supervision are essential
  • Ability to self-manage workload to meet daily, weekly and monthly targets
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Associate degree or technical/trade certificate in welding technology, manufacturing or similar; or equivalent experience is preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a welder is preferred
  • Strong knowledge of welding standards and safety protocols
  • Certified Welder status (AWS, CWB, or equivalent) preferred
