Overview

Our client, a growing integrated design, engineering, and construction firm, is seeking talented Engineers to join their team, offering a flexible work schedule with three days in the office and the rest from home.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality mechanical projects that meet client goals and adhere to the firm’s standards.
• Understand all project phases including schematic design, design development, construction documents, and construction contract administration.
• Perform mechanical engineering analysis, design, and system selection for building applications.
• Ensure conformance of design with applicable building codes and project sustainability goals.
• Deliver high-quality electrical projects that meet client goals and adhere to the firm’s standards.
• Perform electrical engineering analysis, design, and system selection for building applications.
• Perform structural engineering analysis, design, and calculations for vertical building structures.
• Analyze and design structural steel, concrete, wood, and masonry framing systems for vertical building structures.
• Perform MEP analysis, design, and system selection for building applications.
• Perform civil and site engineering analysis for site plans, site layout, utilities, stormwater management, green infrastructure, earthwork, grading, and erosion control utilizing Autodesk Civil 3D for design and documentation.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in engineering.
• Experience with schools is a plus.

Additional Information

• Work three days per week out of their Darien, IL office OR their downtown Chicago, IL office, the rest from home.
