Overview

We are seeking a skilled Fabricator to join our team. The Fabricator will be responsible for assembling, welding, and fabricating metal components to create high-quality products.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain fabrication equipment such as saws, drill presses, shear, press brake machines, and power tools.
  • Assemble and weld metal parts using various techniques.
  • Read and interpret blueprints to determine project specifications.
  • Measure and cut materials to ensure precise fit.
  • Rig and install fabricated metal components for various applications.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in shear, press brake machine operation, sheet metal fabrication, and welding.
  • Experience in MIG, TIG, and arc welding.
  • Experience in assembling metal components.
  • Familiarity with power tools for cutting, shaping, and finishing metal parts.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately.
  • Knowledge of rigging techniques for installation of fabricated components.
  • Machining capabilities not required, but is a plus.

What you'll be running

This posting calls for MIG and TIG work. MIG (GMAW) feeds a continuous wire electrode through a shielding-gas nozzle. TIG (GTAW) uses a non-consumable tungsten electrode with filler added by hand, giving the operator the most control of any process. It is slow, demanding, and the standard for stainless, aluminum, and anything where the bead has to look as good as it holds.
