Overview

Center Point Contractors, Inc. is a full service construction company with 18 years in the business, specializing in construction, renovation, and maintenance in Northwest Arkansas and the surrounding areas. They are currently seeking a GMAW welder.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate welding skills if considered for the position.
  • Safely operate and maintain assigned equipment and tools.

Requirements

  • Valid driver's license
  • Reliable transportation
  • Dependable work ethic, integrity, and professional demeanor
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment and random drug testing
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly and 100 pounds when required
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time and work in extreme weather conditions
  • MIG welding experience in a fabrication shop
  • Stick welding and field work experience is a plus
  • Must be able to work toward AWS welding certification
  • Knowledge of and ability to operate shop and/or field equipment preferred
  • Knowledge of blueprints and weld symbols and experience with structural steel and CNC machines is a plus
  • May require occasional night and/or weekend work
  • High school or equivalent (Preferred)
  • Welding: 1 year (Required)

This posting calls for MIG and Stick work. MIG (GMAW) feeds a continuous wire electrode through a shielding-gas nozzle.
