Job Description

Overview

SEETECH, LLC is seeking a skilled Welder/Fabricator to join their team in Nitro, WV. This role is ideal for a hands-on professional with strong TIG welding experience, contributing to high-quality fabrication projects in a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform TIG welding on aluminum and other metal materials to produce clean, structurally sound welds
  • Fabricate metal components and assemblies according to blueprints, drawings, and work orders
  • Operate CNC cutting equipment to accurately cut and shape metal parts
  • Utilize plasma cutting tools to prepare materials for welding and fabrication processes
  • Inspect finished welds and fabricated pieces to ensure they meet quality and safety standards
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications to guide fabrication work
  • Maintain welding equipment and tools, performing routine maintenance and reporting malfunctions
  • Collaborate with management and production team to meet project deadlines and output goals
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures while operating welding, cutting, and fabrication equipment
  • Demonstrate strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Welder/Fabricator, preferably in a shop or production environment
  • Hands-on experience with TIG welding techniques
  • Demonstrated experience welding aluminum and other metal types
  • Experience with fabrication processes and reading technical drawings
  • Familiarity with CNC cutting equipment
  • Experience with plasma cutting tools and techniques
  • Additional welding certifications (e.g., AWS certification)
  • Experience with other welding methods such as MIG or stick welding
  • Prior experience in the mining industry or a similar shop setting
  • Basic knowledge of metal properties and material handling best practices
