Job Description

Overview

Join a leading mechanical contractor and take your skills to the next level on long-term commercial HVAC projects in the Austin, TX area. We're hiring experienced Hydronic Pipefitters who are skilled in installing and servicing commercial piping systems and are ready to contribute to large-scale mechanical projects.

Responsibilities

  • Install, assemble, and fit hydronic piping systems, including carbon steel and stainless steel piping.
  • Work with chilled water, hot water, and other commercial HVAC piping systems.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, isometric drawings, and mechanical specifications.
  • Measure, cut, thread, groove, and fit pipe accurately to project requirements.
  • Install valves, hangers, supports, and related mechanical components.
  • Collaborate with welders, HVAC technicians, and other trades to complete mechanical systems.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of commercial hydronic pipefitting experience.
  • Experience installing carbon steel and stainless steel piping systems.
  • Ability to fit and install piping systems up to 8 inches.
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints and construction drawings.
  • Reliable transportation and basic hand tools.
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to jobsite safety.
