Overview

Cliff Berry, Inc. is hiring a Welder/Fabricator for their Fort Lauderdale location. The role involves performing various welding and fabrication tasks while adhering to health and safety protocols, ensuring efficient project execution, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure health and safety is the number one goal by following policies and acting safely.
  • Perform welding tasks, including MIG, TIG, and stick welding on various materials.
  • Assist with the setup and preparation of welding equipment.
  • Support the construction, maintenance, and repair of metals and other materials.
  • Operate and maintain cutting tools, torches, and welding machines.
  • Assist with cleaning and finishing welds to meet quality standards.
  • Organize tools and materials for efficient workflow.
  • Conduct pre- and post-inspections on equipment and perform necessary repairs.
  • Maintain and repair small engines and equipment, including pumps and boat motors.
  • Clean and lubricate machinery and tools as part of routine maintenance.
  • Handle and transport materials and equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shop and yard area.
  • Dispose of waste materials in compliance with company policies.
  • Drive company service vehicles as required to support job functions.
