Overview

BHE is hiring a Sheet Metal Fabricator to work on custom race cars, focusing on fabricating and installing custom-built race car bodies and interiors, as well as other custom sheet metal products.

Responsibilities

  • Fabricating and installing custom build race car bodies and interiors in new and refurbished cars.
  • Cutting, fitting, and bending aluminum into custom shapes.
  • Fabricating other custom sheet metal products.
  • Disassembling and reassembling race cars and parts.
  • Assisting customers with loading and product questions.
  • Maintaining courteous and polite customer relationships.
  • Utilizing tools and equipment including hand and powered metal shears, metal break, power and hand edger, air bumper jack, and standard hand tools.

Requirements

  • Experience in body and sheet metal fabrication is preferred.
  • Experience in automotive is preferred.
  • Prior MIG welding is a plus.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced setting.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Punctual and reliable.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Positive attitude.
  • Growth mindset and self-motivated.
  • Valid driver's license.
