Overview

We are seeking a skilled MIG Welder to join our team in Lancaster, SC. The ideal candidate will have experience with hand welding equipment, be capable of performing single welds, and handle various fabrication tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate hand welding equipment.
  • Perform single welds, including both minimal passes and long passes.
  • Conduct rough cuts and operate an orbital sander.
  • Read and interpret blueprints.
  • Check the height, depth, and thickness of welds and materials.
  • Ensure strong attention to detail in all tasks.
  • Consistently lift and move materials weighing up to 60 lbs.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a MIG Welder.
  • Proficiency in setting up and operating welding equipment.
  • Ability to perform precise single welds and rough cuts.
  • Familiarity with operating an orbital sander.
  • Capability to read and interpret blueprints.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Physical ability to lift and carry up to 60 lbs consistently.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Welding certification or relevant training is a plus.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
